The workshops is repeat, you don’t need to sign up for both sessions.

Menstrual blood will be a major theme and other triggering subject matters may also come up depending on what is co-created by the participants. 18+

 

Bloodsport < The Island is an online live action roleplay (LARP) experience set at a world-building temple in a post-extractivist solarpunk future. Guided through games, ritual and collaborative narrative-making, participants will assume new identities as initiates into the mysteries of the moon, the body and the planet to intuit pathways for shifting Earth from a Type 1 to a Type 2 civilisation, co-creating a group incantation text at the event’s conclusion.

Please ensure you have access to the following to prepare you for your journey with us: – An electronic device with stable internet that can access Zoom and other websites at the same time. – A plot of physical earth that is within reasonable walking distance from you. – A device that can indicate the cardinal directions. – Pen and paper / a notepad or a notetaking device.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

LUNARCHY 2.0 is a ritual lab designed for magical praxis, decolonized time and non-binary thinking. Originally co-founded with UCL’s Radical Anthropology Group, its name derives from a lunar model of societal organisation which catalysed the first ever human (r)evolution towards symbolic culture. Since 2018, LUNARCHY 2.0 has collaborated on panel discussions, somatic workshops and live, participatory, performing arts events with Heal Her London, Reboot the Roots, Survival International, APIB and Remembrance Day for Lost Species.
